Manchester Attentat - Mai 2017

Nach dem Attentat von Manchester schrieben wir einen Brief an unsere Freunde in Glossop. Anbei die Antwort und die kurze Notiz aus der Wetterauer Zeitung vom 27.05.2017.

Dear Jochen

Thank you for your letter and kind thoughts regarding the victims of the Manchester bombing.

The bomber apparently was of Libyan origin and the whole of the family are under investigation. Most of the victims are young girls who were attending a concert at Manchester Arena near to Victoria Railway Station. There has been an outpouring of community spirit following the event. Manchester United’s win in the Europa League yesterday in Stockholm has been dedicated to the victims.
